Deana Mitchell is an Austin based photographer, cinematographer and director. She has shot for NY Fashion Week, art galleries in Tokyo and filmed for various international outlets like TIME, ABC News, Fusion, The Washington Post and Voice of America. Deana has a Masters in documentary film from UC-Berkeley and undergraduate degrees in photojournalism and Spanish from the University of Missouri.
It is her pleasure to offer her skillset for family portraiture and video sessions— capturing moments in your life through beautiful compositions and natural lighting.

Family Video Session: Doc Style
Deana will come to your home and film your family doing your every day activities: arts and crafts, cooking, playing with the kids. The end result will be a 60 second polished video set to music to share with family and friends.
3 hours//$800.
*This fee includes a 30 minute in-person consultation to go over logistics.

Family Photo Session: Doc Style
Deana will come to your home for 2 hours and photograph you in your natural environment--similar to the video option but only still photographs. The final product will be 20 digital images that have been color-corrected with light editing. The set will come black and white and in color.
2 hours//$500

Portraiture
Whether you would like a portrait of your child that brings out their natural personality, a headshot of yourself, or a picture of you and your partner or with even with your pet, Deana has you covered.
Pricing starts at $100 an hour and includes a 30 minute phone consultation.

Boudoir
Boudoir is one of Deana's favorite types of photography sessions, but she doesn't think a boudoir session should break the bank. She offers affordable options for women to feel empowered and beautiful in their bodies in her private studio.
During the first hour, a professional hair and make-up artist will prep you while sipping on complementary refreshments.
Deana will guide you in exactly how to pose and help you feel at ease during the 2 hour photo session.
$600 includes professional hair and make-up.
Allow 3 hours, please bring 2 lingerie outfits of your choosing--heels, jewelry. If you aren't sure if it works, just bring it.
*10 professionally toned digital images available in both black and white and color, based on your selection. Prints and other shots available for order at extra cost.

Pregnancy
Show off that bump! Anything we do while pregnant, is amazing and deserves to be commemorated. Immortalize that beautiful changing body!
